Emotional Stability – Part 3

Joel Osteen’s video compilation with comments

Detachment from external influences

Another important factor for keeping calm is to learn to detach from external influences – not to be emotionally influenced by everything. – happening around me, news, social media, other people’s problems, etc., which creates constant stress.

When you learn to emotionally detach from things that don’t help you, you’ll be free from unnecessary anxiety. You start choosing what to let into your mental space. You learn to protect your peace by setting boundaries and focusing your attention on what you know to do in that moment.

Restraint

People who lack self-discipline often feel that they are unable to control what is happening in their lives. They just don’t have the strength to do it. They react impulsively rather than intentionally, letting their emotions dictate their decisions.

But the opposite is true: Philippians 4:13 says: I have strength for everything, Christ gives it to me. snc

I can handle and do everything in Christ, who gives me strength. Spigot

When you realize this and practice self-discipline with God’s help, you will learn to act wisely, not to react. You will learn to control your impulses, put off satisfaction and make decisions based on long-term benefits, instead of short-term good feeling. You will get a strong sense of inner stability.

Re-evaluate your expectations,

As for life’s battles

Another important part of training How to develop a calm mind is the understanding that, like disappointment, challenges are a natural part of life. A lot of people get stressed when things don’t go their way. This is because they expect life to go smoothly and be predictable. However, the reality remains that failures, obstacles and difficulties are inevitable. The key is to change the way you look at them. Stop seeing them as problems and start looking at them as opportunities to grow! Stop resisting them and accept them as a chance to become stronger.

When you change your perspective, the problems over you will lose their power! Challenges will no longer disturb your peace. You will be calm because you know that every difficulty is just a step forward.

Romans 8:28 Everything helps the good to those who love God.

Focus on it,

What’s good in your life

Comment: Sometimes we get so down in our life, we are under such an attack of the devil that it is difficult for us to see something good. But starting to count your blessings is exactly the weapon that can stop the devil’s attacks. As it is sung in one song: ‘Cont your blessings, list them one by one and you will be surprised by what God has already done for you and is still doing.’

When you start focusing on what you have in life and what you’ve already achieved, instead of what you’re missing, you’ll automatically switch your mind to a more grateful and calm one.

Many people experience stress because they are always chasing more success, more money and more and more material things. There’s nothing wrong with your ambitions, but their priority in your life creates a constant feeling that you’re missing something, that you don’t have enough, that you need this and that more and then you’ll be really happy…

Find time to appreciate what you already have and you will be surprised how satisfied you are suddenly! This will also grow your trust in God.

have an influence on what you are worried about

Many people experience stress because they feel the need to control everything they fear. Whether it is the future or doubts about one’s own abilities, fear of the unknown, etc. Trusting God is the key to liberation from worries. When you remember that God loves you and has the best future for you and can help you with anything, you stop fearing and doubting. This will also radically calm your mind.

Trust in God is the key to a calm mind. It is one of the strongest points you can adopt. This will allow you to sail through life in peace, wisdom and resilience, no matter what is happening around you.

Why do negative thoughts steal your peace

Why are some people restless and anxious? Because they are constantly looking for recognition from others, they are worried about what people think about them. He tries to please and is afraid of condemnation. This clinging to the opinions of others creates instability because their emotions become dependent on how others perceive them.

But when you start to care more and more about what God thinks, it will set you free!

Look for your value in what God says about you, not people. Then your inner peace and joy will cease to depend on someone’s praise and you will stop being afraid of criticism.

Final words of encouragement

The ability to remain calm and focused regardless of external situations will free you from constant emotional ups and downs. You will realize that your calmness does not depend on what is happening around you, but on how you decide to react! Emotion control is a lifelong skill that requires constant growth. It is not about suppressing emotions, but about mastering them in a way that allows you to live with wisdom, balance and inner peace. When you train your mind to stay calm in every situation, you’ll unlock a new level of emotional freedom that not everyone can get right away.

You will no longer respond impulsively. Nor will you allow temporary emotions to dictate your actions, instead you will go through a life with a balanced and calm mindset, which is capable of handling challenges with tenacity and grace. This ability not only improves your own well-being, but also inspires those around you to develop the same level of emotional intelligence.

Comment: The only way you can do this is with God’s help. You tell him to help you with it. You start training – challenge-inhale…exhale – eyes on Jesus.

You tell him again to help you when you’re in that situation.

You’ll tell him again for help if you don’t succeed.

– The key is to ask and let him into your life and let him work in your life. Include him in all situations, especially the burning ones.

Don’t be shy in front of him (he knows how you feel anyway.)

Being bold and begging him for help again and again, don’t give it up until you see the results.

With God’s help you can do anything!

Keep reminding yourself how much he cares about you and how important you are to him. – see the next article!
