emotional intelligence

Emotional intelligence is one of the most powerful skills you can master in life! It is the ability to understand and manage one’s emotions and at the same time recognize the emotions of others.

Many people respond to situations without thinking, letting their emotions control their actions. – They get upset when things don’t go according to their ideas. They are frustrated when they face obstacles and disgust, when things don’t happen as quickly as they want. However, those who control emotional intelligence remain calm regardless of the situation. They understand that emotions are temporary and impulsive reactions only lead to regretting it later. They do not allow themselves to be controlled by circumstances. Instead, they take control of how they react.

The key to mastering emotional intelligence is self-awareness. You must learn to observe your emotions without allowing them to dictate your actions. When something upsets you, take a step back and ask yourself – ‘Why do I feel this way?  What caused this emotion? Why is my reaction the way it is? Does it help or harm the situation?’ When you take the time to analyze your emotions, you gain control over them instead of letting frustration turn into anger, fear or panic.

Ability to process your feelings at rest

This skill separates those who struggle with life from those who succeed. People who fight themselves let their emotions guide them. While people who succeed learn to control their emotions.

One of the biggest challenges in life is dealing with difficult people. There are always people who will try your patience, who say things that cause negative emotions, who try to bring you to your knees. But emotional intelligence will allow you to remain unaffected by them. Instead of reacting emotionally to their negativity, you learn to rise above it.

You will understand that other people’s behavior is a reflection of themselves, not you!

If someone is rude, it’s their problem, not yours!

If someone criticizes you, it is a reflection of their point of view, not your value.

When you stop taking things personally through God’s help with emotional intelligence, you learn to react with wisdom instead of reacting emotionally. Emotional intelligence will also allow you to handle challenges with a clear mind. Life will test you, you will face failures, disappointments and unexpected problems, but only how you manage these situations, how you react to them will decide your success.

Many people allow the challenges to break them. They are overloaded, stressed, let themselves be scared. But people with emotional intelligence have a different approach. Instead of panic, he focuses on the solution. Instead of being controlled by fear, they remain calm with God’s help and logically analyze the situation. They understand that problems are a part of life and that their reaction to these problems is what really matters.

How to stop hastily responding

and begin to act wisely

Developing emotional intelligence requires discipline.

1 Corinthians 9:27 That’s why I keep my body pretty short and train it in discipline.

You have to learn to stop yourself instead of reacting immediately. When you encounter a difficult situation, instead of an immediate reaction, take a deep breath and take a moment to think. Ask yourself what is the best way to handle it. What is the best way to deal with it? What result do I want? How can I respond in a way that benefits me in the long run?

By practicing this habit, you will train your mind to remain calm even under pressure, and over time it will become your second nature. You won’t let any minor inconveniences ruin your day anymore! You will no longer let your emotions dictate your decisions. You will gain the ability to handle any situation with confidence and calmness.

Another key to emotional intelligence is to learn to ‘let go’ – let float what you can’t control. Many people waste energy on being afraid of things they can’t control. They stress about the past, deal with what others think about them, and worry about things that haven’t happened yet. However, worries will not change anything. Stressing the past won’t change the past. Fear of the future will not prevent further challenges from coming. The only thing that creates real change is to focus on what you can control – your time with God, your thoughts, your actions!

When you stop trying to control everything and start focusing on taking control of your thoughts – with God’s help – you will experience true true freedom! The first step is to ask Jesus to help you have control over your thoughts and possibly actions.

The weapons of our struggle are not carnal, but they have strength from God…. We conquer every thought with them, to be obedient to Christ. 2. Corinthians 10:4 and 5

Weapons …have the power from God to destroy the walls (in our mind). With them, we destroy human inventions (in our head) and everything that rises in pride against the knowledge of God (anything worldly, which sticks to us through series, social networks, etc.). we put into servitude Every Thought, to be obedient to Christ. Spigot

The fruit of the spirit is then… Self-control.  Galatians 5:22 and 23

Another essential part of emotional intelligence is distance. Your ability to keep calm in every situation depends on how well you manage your impulses. When someone says something that upsets you, do you react to it immediately, or do you stop and choose – choose – your reaction?

When you face a stressful situation, do you let yourself be controlled by anxiety, or do you take a deep breath and focus on what you can do? A distance is what allows you to keep calm even when you are surrounded by stress and chaos.

The way you talk to yourself

– How to “say” your future

The way you talk to yourself plays a huge role in your emotional intelligence. Your inner dialogue shapes your emotions and reactions.

If you keep wondering how hard it is, how you can’t handle the stress, that life is unfair, your mind will believe it. However you can learn change your reactions to life’s challenges. – Instead of saying it’s too hard, say ‘God and I will figure it out and solve it!’ – Instead of replaying in your head – I can’t do it, say, I can do everything with God!

Philippians 4:13 says: I have strength for everything, Christ gives it to me. snc

I can handle and do everything in Christ, who gives me strength. Spigot

The words you say in your head shape your emotions and your emotions determine how you behave!

Learn speak to yourself in a way that reinforces your faith! To do this, he will help you spend time with God, listening to his words. unabled Romans 10:17 So faith is from hearing the news, and the message is the word of Christ.

Comment: It is even possible to ‘say’ your future with God. – In God’s authority we can command that something that is not yet – things that are not as if they already are.

In the Hebrew original in Isaiah 45:11 writes: Command me about my sons (and daughters) and the work of my hands!

Let’s see how God himself used this principle at the beginning of creation:

Genesis 1:3- God said: ‘Let it be light!’ tho And there was light.

God said: ‘Let the sky be in the middle of the waters to separate the waters from the waters!’

7 God made the sky and separated the waters under the sky from the waters above the sky— And it happened.

God said: ‘Let the waters gather under the sky in one place and let the land be revealed!’ tho And it happened.

11 then God said: ‘Let the earth beget green: herbs bearing seed and various types of fruitful trees bearing fruit, in which their seed is on the ground!’ tho And it happened.

14 God said: ‘Let the torches be in the heavenly sky, to separate the day from the night; they will be signs to determine the periods, days and years; 15 they shall be in the heavenly sky to be torchlights to illuminate the earth!’ tho And it happened.

20 God said: ‘Let the waters be swarmed by many animals and let the birds fly over the earth under the sky!’…

24 God said: ‘Let the earth give different kinds of animals: different types of cattle, small vermin and field game!’ –a It happened.

Gen 2:1 So it was completed heaven and earth with all their diversity.

19 … He (God) brought all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky to Adam to see what he would call them. Each living creature was to be named after its name.

In the same way, you too can ‘say’ what you want to make it happen with God’s help. For example – ‘In the name of Jesus, I command this foot not to hurt! Let it be perfectly healthy! …I am healthy, it does not hurt me, It keeps getting better… you are Me He promised in To Jeremiah 30:17 I will restore your health, I will heal your wounds.

Play in your head during the day: I’m able to learn this. I’ll give it! I can do it! I can do everything in Christ, which gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

It is clear that quoting verses from the Bible will give us faith and strength to fight. So don’t stop learning verses by heart on any topic you need!

Learning to handle stress

Another important aspect of emotional intelligence is learning to manage stress. Stress is inevitable, but how you treat it determines its impact on your life. Many people are absorbed by stress. It allows negative thoughts to get out of control. They focus on the worst cases and scenarios and become overwhelmed with anxiety. However, people with emotional intelligence have a different approach. They recognize stress as a signal to action, not as something to be afraid of! Instead of being paralyzed by fear, they use stress as a motivation to search for God and solve it! They practice deep breathing, meditation on God’s word or physical exercise to keep a clear mind! They understand that stress is temporary and that with Jesus’ help they have the power to control their reactions to it!

Better relationships

Emotional intelligence will also help you build better relationships. When you understand your own emotions, you become more empathetic towards others. You will realize that everyone is dealing with their own challenges, their own fears, their own struggles, and this affects how they deal with you. Instead of reacting to the defense when someone is uncomfortable with you, Be aware that it may not have anything to do with you at all, but perhaps with the morning argument with your wife. Learn to understand and listen even to what is not expressed in words. Instead of letting conflicts escalate, you will learn to deal with them with wisdom and patience. Emotional intelligence will allow you to establish deeper contact with people and thus create a stronger and more meaningful relationship.

The core of emotional intelligence is the understanding that you are responsible for your own relationships.

No one will be able to influence how you feel if you don’t let them. No situation has the power to break you by itself, only if you allow it. If you don’t let her, if you adopt emotional intelligence, then with God’s help you will take full responsibility for how you will react.- You stop blaming circumstances, other people and start focusing on your own reactions. You will learn to react as efficiently as possible, you will become unshakable regardless of what is happening around you. This is a way of thinking that leads to success, peace, peace and true strength. A calm mind is the basis of clear thinking and wise action.

Affirmation:

It’s not about suppressing my emotions, it’s about learning to understand them, stopping, and make a wise decision about how I react to them.

When I learn to stay calm – I ask God to help me with this and call him in a situation where I need it – I gain control over my life instead of letting myself be controlled by what is happening around me.

***

to: James 1:5-8 If one of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all without reservations and without remorse, and will be given to him….he who doubts is like the wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Such a person is divided and his decisions are volatile. …So just with confidence and no doubt.

A calm mind will allow you to clearly orient yourself in the world of challenges, make rational decisions and choose solutions that will help you maintain inner peace.

One of the key elements of mind training is the art of stopping before I respond. Not to be controlled by anger of frustration or fear.

Another effective way to train your mind is Ask Jesus, to help me shift my attention from what I can’t control to what I can. It’s a fight against powerlessness that I can win with him!

In today’s fast-paced world, people expect immediate results, immediate satisfaction and quick response. When things don’t happen as quickly as they want, they are anxious and frustrated. True calm comes from understanding that some things take time. – Whether it is personal growth, the success of some treatment or relationships. Everything has its time schedule.

Patience

Patience is not just waiting for something to happen, it is the ability to remain balanced and focused in the face of obstacles, delays and challenges. It is a sign of mental strength, a reflection of inner discipline and a key component to achieving long-term success in any area of life.

One of the biggest challenges for patience is coping with adversity. When you face failures, it’s easy to fall into frustration and lose motivation or even give up altogether. This is because you perceive obstacles as a sign of failure and not as an opportunity to strengthen your inner spiritual muscles.

However, if you train your mind to be patient, you will develop endurance. You will understand that you can learn something from every failure and that God will extract everything from it for your own good. Every delay is an opportunity for growth and every challenge is a test of your resilience. You will not allow temporary problems to shake your inner peace! – Instead, you will use them as a springboard to make you wiser, more disciplined and determined.

Comment: Life is a struggle, but with God you can manage everything and not only manage it, but to get through the SKZ, soar above and fight your way through every challenge victoriously!

When you acquire patience, you stop feeling rushed and pushed by external pressures. You will trust God more knowing that everything is developing at his right time. This will allow you to remain calm even in moments of uncertainty. You will no longer feel the need to force things to happen before their time, which is another key aspect of training your mind and trust in God.

***

Learning to handle disappointments

Another essential aspect is learning to manage disappointment. Life does not always go according to plan and failures are inevitable. A lot of people let themselves be overwhelmed by disappointment and allow them to absorb all thoughts and emotions. They still deal with it and mentally replay a situation that they did not succeed, which only reinforces their feeling of helplessness.

Emotional resilience, however, is based on the acceptance of the fact that disappointment is a natural part of life and its use. When you teach your mind to deal with disappointment with peace of mind, you can learn that disappointment is no reason to give up. However, you don’t have to be emotionally paralyzed. on the contrary, be aware that with every disappointment or loss your abilities develop – The art of adapting, finding new solutions and not giving up.

How to control your internal dialogue

The way you talk to yourself shapes your emotions and reactions. If your mind is filled with negative thoughts, fears, self-doubt and fear, it means for you that it will be difficult to keep inner peace. You will have it only if you think more positively and constructively, with your eyes fixed on Jesus.

Comment: You can imagine it as if you had a picture of Jesus pinned to your glasses. Your goal is to learn every time something throws you off, instead of continuing to look at the situation – you force your eyes to look away and look at Jesus!

What can also help you, what you can do physically, is deep breathing, which activates the relaxing reaction of the body, inducing a feeling of relaxation.

Commentary: For example – a stressful situation – a deep breath. Take a look at Jesus – exhale.
