Our Spiritual Weapons – Part 1 – God’s Word, Prayer, Humility, Faith…

In the spiritual world, there is a constant struggle between the forces of good and evil. We are participants in this struggle, which we call a ‘spiritual war’ and We have a great influence on what is happening in the spirit world through our prayers and decisions.

Also, God and his angels and helpers try to influence us to do good in this life and live according to his law of love. And the devil and his demons are similarly trying to influence us to make stupid and bad decisions.

Much of the struggles that take place in the spiritual world are waged o control of minds and hearts us here on earth, in an effort to influence our actions, which subsequently have an influence on the spiritual world and on eternity.

Jesus expects from us as the saved Christians that we will join this spiritual struggle by connecting to him and using his spiritual power and the gifts he has made available to us. We call this power and gifts ‘spiritual weapons’, although they can also be referred to as ‘tools’ or just ‘gifts’. Anyway, we do They add strength, which we need to resist the devil’s attacks or influences, whether on our minds or spirits. They also help us submit to God and fulfill his will.

2. Corinthians 10:4 We have effective weapons capable of defeating any opponent. (SNC)

1. To Timothy 6:12 Being a Christian means wage a constant spiritual match. Put your whole heart into this fight. (SNC)

A description of some of these spiritual weapons can be found in Ephesians 6:

Ephesians 6:10-18 -see https://nekomunatobezalezi.cz/bozi-zbroj/

In this passage, Paul lists several important spiritual weapons: truth, justice, the gospel (the good news of Jesus), faith, salvation, the word and prayer.

We will talk here about some of them, along with others.

Our Spiritual Weapons

the word of god

to the Jews 4:12 God’s word is alive, breakthrough and sharp as a sharpened double-edged sword. (SNC)

God’s Word is one of our main spiritual weapons, which is depicted as a sword in the Bible. Word is the source of our faith And it is the basis for sharing God’s love with others:

the Romans 10:17 AM Faith is thus from Hearing a message and that message is word Christ’s. (B21)

In the list of ‘whole God’s armament’, which Paul presents to us in the 6th chapter of the Ephesians, God’s Word is a part that is truly an offensive weapon. is something that can not only protect you from the enemy, but also something you can do to it Attack and what to destroy and chase him away.

‘The sword of the Spirit by which is the word of God!’ – Ephesians 6:17.

God’s word is our spiritual sword that drives away a defeats the devil always, when we use it!

Remember how Jesus himself did when he was tempted by the devil! – He defended himself and attacked with a word! (See Matthew 4:1-10).

Nothing scares the devil like the word of God! He just can’t stand him, he can’t stand the word!

The best way to knock the enemy out of the fight is by word! Just bury him with a flood of truth. – by being a word regularly read, stand on it and quote it when you are under attack. And he and all his doubts and fears will escape!

Comment: Sometimes it is enough to just repeat one verse over and over until the devil gives you peace. For example, verses for healing can be ‘swallowed’ like pills – 3 times a day or as often as needed.

The word guides us and gives us answers:

Psalm 119:105 by light To my feet is your word, it enlightens my path. (pin)

Psalm 119:130 Where your words penetrate, there is a light, Inexperienced gaining reasonableness. (pin)

Jesus: My word is most of all the source. the source of your spiritual life and your spiritual food. It’s just a word that It connects your spirit to my spirit and what keeps you in the spiritual realm. it is foundation, resource and center all aspects of your spiritual life.

It also gives you practical answers, solutions and direction – both for your personal life and for your relationships with others.

Prayer

Jeremiah 33:3 call to me and I will answer you. I want to tell you big and unavailable things that you don’t know. (pin)

Ephesian 6:18 Pray today and daily, The Spirit of God is ready to help you. Pray for Christians everywhere in the world and intercede for me too. (SNC)

Jacob 5:16b real prayer sincerely believer He has great power. (SNC)

notary 11:24 If you beg for something in your prayers with a firm belief that your request will be fulfilled, then it will surely happen. (SNC)

Targeted prayer full of faith brings results, and therefore it is an important weapon designed to defeat the devil’s attempts when he or your loved ones are trying to harass or stop you.

Jesus: It’s clear enough that Prayer is one of the most practical and effective ways to  use the spiritual power in your life.

If it is by your first reaction to any problem or challenge: ‘I will pray and start Jesus’ strength and the power to move it.” Instead of the typical: ‘How will I solve it?’ – it will bring you great practical benefit. – Firstly, It will relieve you of stress and transfer the weight of decisions and problems to me. (Basketball with Jesus.) This in itself brings some mental and physical relief. And the real relief is that It works!

Your prayers, which you pray with full faith, really solve things, always do something and most importantly really work! – change people and situations and solve problems that you yourself would never be able to solve. Maybe you could come up with a good solution yourself, but why worry when my spirit can do it (even better) for you?

Of course, you can’t just pray and do nothing, but by handing it over to me first, you’ll share the weight of the ‘yoke’ and you don’t have to pull it yourself.

Very often there is also something I want you to do but Your first response, your first line of attack, your first step should be prayer. You will call my spirit, my help and power before you start praying for a solution.

Jesus: You often see only a fraction of what I do ‘behind the scenes’ to move what you asked me to move and change me to your advantage. Many times you think it’s ‘just how things have evolved’ and not the answer to your prayers. But there is not a single prayer you have ever prayed that would remain unanswered. There is not a single thought for someone else that you will send to heaven that would not immediately turn into spiritual power and not be used for their benefit.

As soon as you listen to my nudge to pray, you will release my tremendous strength and power to go into action for the benefit of those you pray for.

So don’t forget to pray!

Humility

Proverbs 22:4 The result of humility and respect for the Lord is wealth, glory and life. (B21)

1 Peter 5:5b All have a sensitive approach to each other and be humble, Because for the humble, God has a special blessing, but turns against the proud. (SNC)

James 4:10 Humble yourself before God and He will exalt you. (SNC and ČEP)

Humility is God’s quality, the opposite of pride.

humbly comes realizing that we are not strong enough ourselves and therefore we need God.

This Dependence on it is a powerful weapon in our spiritual arsenal, because it connects us with God’s power and power, instead of relying on our own.

The greatest saints were the greatest sinners who were aware of their needs of God!

The faster you learn that you know nothing compared to God, the better off you will be, because only God has the whole picture and has all the answers.

There is no limit to what can be achieved if you give thanks to God for everything!

Humility also manifests itself in our relationships with other people.

Love is humility and humility is love -so If we are not humble, we cannot be truly loving.

If we are not humble, then we are not dependent on God enough and therefore we are not able to be the blessing we could be for him and others.

When we are not humble, we are usually self-righteous – Which makes us hard to bear, insensitive, omniscient or critical. And all this prevents us from communicating well with others

How to use a weapon of humility

According to the biblical dictionary, humility is: ‘freedom from arrogance, which grows from The knowledge that everything we have and what we are comes from God.’ It further reads: ‘Greeting philosophers humbly despised because it indicated inadequacy, lack of dignity and worthlessness. However, this is not the meaning of humility, as defined by the Bible!

Jesus is the best example of humility and certainly does not suffer from inadequacy and has infinite dignity and value.

biblical humility not belittling yourself, but exalting or praising others, especially God and Jesus.

A humble person therefore focuses more on God and others than on himself.

Biblical humility is also an acknowledgment that we are inadequate, without dignity and worthless. yet – Because we are made in God’s image and because we believe in Jesus – we have Infinite value and dignity.

True humility does not cause pride, but gratitude.

Because God is both our Creator and Redeemer, our existence and justice depend on him.

Humility is not that we deal with our inadequacy; Instead we will deal with by God’s adequacy. We will focus on the fact of that, Who He dwells and acts on us and the fact that no matter how weak and incapable we are, he can do anything miraculously through us!

More About Humility

‘Doing humble things’, although it often seems to be a challenge and strenuous, it can really make your life better.

When you try to do humble things, when you walk in the spirit of humility and silence, you will find in it freedom. You won’t be burdened by what anyone thinks of you. Because you care more about what God thinks than they do. And that will make a huge boulder fall from your heart.

If you often worry about what someone thinks about you, or if you feel restricted, tied up or under pressure full of worrying about your image, appearance, or anything – do something! For example, something that humbles you, and thus you free yourself to the spirit. You will see how it really relieves your mind, and thus your body.

Examples:

It’s amazing how much mental and even physical stress some people cause themselves by being bound by your pride. by the fact that They will allow pride and fear to hold them back.

Doing something giving, something loving, fun, unusual, wild and free – just about anything that is humble is good for you and overall This will make you less uptight, which you in an amazing way Will improve relationships with others, because you will be freer in spirit and the kinder, more compassionate and fun! tho You won’t think so much about yourself, but more about others!

Faith

1 John 5:4b His commandments are not difficult if we fulfill them out of love. .. Victory in this match brings us faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. We have no hope without her. (SNC)

Faith is an essential part of our spiritual life. – is absolutely necessary to use other spiritual weapons. It is a vital part of our life. It concerns everything in our spiritual life. – Starting with the first step of receiving the gift of salvation, to the invocation of the heavenly powers to perform miracles.

We need faith every day. – To believe and accept the written word, to hear from God for ourselves personally, to do what the word tells us. Also, to be able to use spiritual weapons, to trust Jesus in difficult times and to rely on him for our needs. To be able to entrust our lives, plans and loved ones to Jesus’ hands. We need faith to believe that our prayers will be answered. Faith in healing and miracles and to be able to face various challenging and even impossible situations. – We need faith for so many things!

Have you ever seen an interview with athletes in which they ask them after winning what gave them a head start? They often say that they believed in themselves or that they believed in their team that they could win. And that’s what the weapon of faith is all about! – Except that this is not about self-belief, but about faith in Jesus and his strength and power!

When you have faith, you know that you can trust him completely – not only is he with you, but also because You know he can defeat every obstacle and win over anything!

releve

Have you ever seen space shuttles launch that have additional engines? They have such a huge performance that they will take the space shuttle into space. Your faith is like this additional engine— You have tremendous power at your disposal! However, this force must be set in motion; It needs to be lit. The fuel and energy contained in these rocket engines is useless until it ignites. And faith is exactly what incites you to bring God’s word of life into action! It will help you believe that anything is possible for you and make it happen.

Faith grows by faithful study of God’s word and by practicing your faith in your life. Faith is compared to a muscle that gets stronger through exercise.

Romans 10:17 So faith is from hearing the news, and the message is the word of Christ. (B21)

James 2:26 As a body without a spirit is dead, so She is dead and Faith without works. (pin)

Jesus: Faith is Knowledge – Knowledge That I I’m, knowing that I love you and I want to help you. it is also a knowledge that My promises are to you personally, that I answer prayers, that I pray for you. knowing that I will answer you, even if it contradicts how you feel. Faith means you know you know you know.

Young children have faith and are a good example of faith. They have faith in their parents. They know that if they cry, someone will come; When they are hungry, they will get to eat; When they need help, they will get it. We should be more like children and so should our Faith – Children’s!

When I taught on earth, I often used examples of children, called small children to me, and told my disciples to be like them, to humble themselves and accept the kingdom of God as little children – which means trust, believe, have faith. (Luke 18,15-17; Matthew 18,2-4).

Faith perseveres and no doubts. He may be tempted to do so and may think about it, but in the end faith will stand because he believes in me and is convinced that I am capable enough to do what I promised (Romans 4:21).

Faith is convinced that I am capable of doing more than what you would beg for or even think about (Ephesians 3:20).

faith knows, that nothing is too difficult for me and that everything is possible for me (Mark 10:27); Luke 1:37).

Faith knows that I am true to my word. Faith is fully confidence that I will do it, because it knows me and knows my will.

When you have faith, your heart is firm, it trusts me, and no bad news will move you (Psalm 112:7).

You don’t let yourself be slightly swayed, your mind trusts me firmly. You do not fluctuate, like the wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed (Hebrews 10:35; James 1:6).

You know I can do it, that I want to do it, and I will. – This is a faith that makes me very happy, because this is the era of faith – trust and knowledge –  Even if you don’t see me and have nothing to lean on, except my word.

Every person is given the level of faith – enough to accept me into his life. ‘In accordance with the level of faith that God has given him’ (Romans 12:3) But then you must build and develop your faith, and there are many ways to develop it and many ways to achieve it.

tho You can ask me for the gift of faith (who is one of the gifts of my spirit) And I will give it to you. (1 Corinthians 12,9).

– You can ask me, To magnify your faith (Luke 17.5). For I am both – ‘the source and the content of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

tho You also increase your faith through my word (Romans 10:17). The more you read my word, the more faith it arouses and cultivates in you.

My word builds your faith as well as testimony of faith-stories of others. – When you hear or read about answers to prayers, about miracles of healing, about the fulfillment of needs, liberation from problems or others, your faith grows. Because you see that what I did for someone else I am able to do over and over again. I am the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
