The difference between followers and disciples
A disciple is someone who strenuously followed by God, controls your life according to the will of God expressed in the Bible and is looking for His specific will for your life, career, family and personal interests. It means living your life according to His teachings.
Call to discipleship is a personal matter and is fulfilled according to God’s plan and will for each of His followers.
How did the first disciples?
1. Followed Him and learned from Him. Mark 1:16-18 Jesus said to them: ‘follow me and I will make you fishers of people!’

Although Jesus was followed by many people, only a few of them were actually devout disciple.

Each gospel speaks of Jesus ‘ disciples:
