The spirit of Christmas is love, generosity and goodness. They illuminate the window of our soul and help us to focus more on the people around us than on the material possessions. – Thomas S. Monson
He who does not have Christmas in his heart will never find it under the tree. – Roy L. Smith
We celebrate Jesus’ birthday at Christmas. What gifts would make him happy?
– For example, the gift of gratitude. When we think about everything good in our lives, we appreciate it more. Gratitude restores hope in us.
– Even our children can share a gift of gratitude. Before they write a list for Santa, they can write a list of toys and things they already have.
– Another gift can be that we cancel some items on our list – such as some shopping, baking, cleaning, social parties, etc. and we replace them with moments experienced in silence and reflection. … and we will certainly not forget to spend time with our loved ones both during the holidays and throughout the year.
My idea of Christmas is very simple: showing kindness to others. Come to think of it, why wait for Christmas? —Bob Hope
Christmas, my child, is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give it’s Christmas. – Dale Evans

His life story
He was born on the dirty floor of a barn. Until the age of 30, he was a carpenter as his earthly father. But his heavenly father needed him for another job that only he could do.
When it came time to start his life’s work, he helped people everywhere. He took care of the children, healed grief, strengthened tired bodies and showed people that it was enough to accept him to get to heaven. He not only preached his message, but lived it among people. He cared not only for their spiritual needs, but spent a large part of his time caring for their physical and material needs. miraculously healed those who were sick and fed those who were hungry, all this time he shared his life and his love with them.
His religion was so simple that he said that we must be like little children to be able to accept it. He did not advise people to perform complicated ceremonies or to follow complex rules. Everything he taught and showed his own life was love. He tried to lead people to the true kingdom of God, where the only laws are to ‘love God’ and ‘love others as yourself’.
God is a Spirit. He is omnipotent, omniscient, everywhere and in everything – far beyond our limited human understanding. Therefore he sent Jesus, in the form of man, so that we may better understand God.
