With the approaching New year repeats in my head the idea, which may seem simple, but it’s a powerful truth: ‘New year, same God!’
This short sentence reminded me of the beautiful verse from a sheet of Hebrews 13:8 ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.’
In a letter to the church in the Philippian Paul wrote: Brothers, do you really know that I was already at the goal, but for me one thing is: I’m leaving everything behind and setting just to what’s in front of me. I’m Running toward the goal to win the heavenly prize for which God has calling in Christ Jesus. I hope that all of you who have been in the faith grew to adulthood, you’re looking at those things as much as I do. If you should still have some doubts, God will even give you the time clear. just firmly hold at least the truth that you already know. (Philippians 3:13-14).
Given how rapidly changing our families, the church, politics and technology, it is encouraging to know that God never changes! God ‘does not adapt’ the time of. God’s Word does not change according to cultural pressures or difficult life situations. God may not change, because it is already the King of kings and Lord of lords! We just need to ‘fix to what is in front of me’.
At the beginning of a new year, it is natural to reflect on the past and set goals for the future. But as christians, our goal should not be only about the achievement of personal success or financial well-being, but rather, about the worship of God and adapting our lives to His will.
One of the ways you can begin to set godly goals, it is a prayer to seek God’s guidance. Listen to His voice and ask Him for guidance in the coming year. The psalmist in Psalm 37:4 says: Look for the good in the Lord, he will give you everything, asks for your heart. When we seek first God, He will lead us and give us the desires, which are in accordance with His will for our life.
So at the beginning of the new year, let us remember: ‘New year, same God!’ – kaplan Allen 1

From Jesus with love
I made you this year, a year of change, a year of new challenges, a year of testing, a year of growth. Now, when you’re standing on the threshold of a new year, I promise to give you strength and grace, and get you ready for what awaits you.
I am happy for the progress that you last reached. I was pleased every time, when you came to Me, when you praised Me, when you listened to My voice, when you were looking for Me.
I know you’re in the past year also fought. The fight is in this world is inevitable. Don’t worry, however, the size or strength of the waves, laying you in the coming year to face. I’ll help you be unwavering and unshakable, full of faith and confidence in Me. You can be sure that I’m still with you and you always support.
In the time of darkness I’ll be your light. In this time of sorrow I’ll be your joy. In the time of the fight I’ll be your release. In the time of weakness I’ll be your strength. don’t Be so dejected in spirit or sad. Don’t worry about the past nor fear the future,. just come to Me and find forgiveness, consolation, strength, and love.

Is there really such a thing as a new beginning?
The new year started with some hope – another year, another chance, a new beginning. Still with us but we carry the same fears, the same desires, the same resolutions. If our past or present appears to be so broken that her pieces back deep into the future, new days are often filled with more dread than hope. Let’s us comfort: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as white as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)
I remember a time when I could imagine the end of a difficult situation, but what I could imagine was the beginning, which would not be marred by the past. ‘Is there really such a thing as a new beginning?’ was a question that I’ve been thinking.
A good friend of mine gave me a written the following words and asked me to take them held:
However, this to heart I’ll take you, this is my hope: the Lord’s love is unfailing, his compassion never ends. Every morning still new, your loyalty is so great! My destiny is the Lord, I say, in him I put my hope. Good is the Lord to those who hope to all who are looking for. (Lamentations 3:21-25)

Look to tomorrow
When we stand on the threshold of the new year, naturally we think of what us in the upcoming year ahead. On this journey called life, we experience good and bad, ups and downs, and often we have no idea what it is for us around the corner. As christians, we strive to make the best decision that we can, and to live a good and honest life that will please God and bless the lives of others. Every day we make decisions that may affect our future, and it is not always clear in what way. It is not easy even in light times, but the times in which we now live, is not at all easy nor simple.
We can assume that it’s an interesting time to be a researcher in the field of culture and history, but the reality for us, who we are experiencing it, is such that every new year brings with it new uncertainty and risk.
One thing that we can hold as some of the anchor and refuge in life, it is God’s love and care about us, even in the darkest and most difficult times,. ‘God said: ‘I’ll Never leave you. Never will you disown‘“ in Hebrews 13:5 (PIN).
Because it is impossible for God to lie, we can unswervingly based how about his promise, as his oath. When we resorted to, we can draw the powerful pleasure of the offered hopethat we seized. This is a safe and firm anchor of the whole of our being, that connects us with God. Hebrews 6:18-19

In 1939, a young preacher and a musician named Ira Stanphill married Zelmou Lawson, the daughter of a pastor, who had a beautiful voice and played the piano. Unfortunately, this marriage eventually ended in 1948, and his ex-wife shortly after she was killed in a car accident. During the years between their breakup and divorce, and after her death Stanphill fell into a deep depression.
One night, when driving the car, he started to hum a song about it, he doesn’t know what the future will bring, and that trusts God even in situations they don’t understand. After arriving home he rushed to the piano and wrote down the words of the song “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow” (I Know who holds tomorrow), which soon became famous. Her words still resonate with many of us who face the unknown future.
Many things about tomorrow,
it seems to me that I don’t understand;
but one thing I know, Who for tomorrow oversees,
and also I know Who’s hand keeps me.
About the future I don’t care,
Since I know and I know what Jesus said,
and so today, after His side walk I,
because for Him there is a riddle, what’s in front of me.
God does not promise that our life will be easy, but he promises that every day of our life is in His hands!
What’s the consolation now, when we enter into the new year! When we realize that The one Who loves us most, knows what is before us and he will walk with us every single day and each step.

Prayer for the new year
Our Father and our God, in the beginning of this new year, when we are faced with we don’t know the future, we acknowledge that we need Your presence and Your guidance.
Each of us has their hopes and expectations for the year, which is ahead of us – but only You know what will bring us. Just You, you can give us the strength and wisdom we need to be able to face his challenges. Help us to humbly put my hand out to you and trust You and to seek Your will for our life in this coming year.
Make sure the midst of the uncertainties of life in the coming days about the certainty of Your unchanging love. In the middle of the unavoidable disappointments and pain of life help us to turn to You, to find the stability and comfort we will need. In the midst of temptation and the pull of our stubborn self will help us not to lose Your way. Help us to have the courage to do what is right in Your eyes, no matter what it will cost.
And in the midst of our everyday concerns and activities of the us open your eyes to the suffering and injustice of our wounded world and help us to respond to them. Whether it is our constant prayer, the prayer of the ancient psalmist: I will Run the way of thy commandments, you gave my heart a freedom. Show me the way of their regulation, consistently uphold. (Psalm 119:32 and 33). …
When we look back upon the past year, we thank You for Your goodness to us – far beyond what we deserve. May you never forget on Your last kindness even at Your mercy towards us, but let us, on the contrary lead to a new commitment to make You the foundation and center of our lives this year.
And so, our Father, we thank You for the promise and hope of this new year and we look forward to him with the expectation and faith.
Please in the name of our Lord and Savior, who by his death and resurrection gave hope both for this world and for the world of the future. Amen.
