Christmas Thoughts
True Christmas is in the spirit of giving. … At Christmas we find time for others and for the really important things in life. tho Thomas S. Monson
One of the wonders of Christmas lies in the fact that even in modern society, where we are often directly surrounded by exuberant materialism, the true meaning of Christmas is never completely lost. Even unbelieving people are touched by the symbolism of an innocent child who represents the hope of humanity and who came to earth to invite every person to open up to God and his neighbors. tho R. Keane
Chapter About Love – Christmas Version
If I had decorated my house with perfectly tied ribbons, cords of glittery lights and shiny ornaments, but at the same time I didn’t love my loved ones, I would be just an arranger.
If I had been working in the kitchen for hours, baking many kinds of cookies, preparing gourmet delicacies and making a beautiful table, but she didn’t have a true love for her family in her heart, I’m just a cook.
If I were to cook soup for the homeless, sing carols in the nursing home and put everything I have, to charity, but she couldn’t love, it’s all useless to me.
Love stops cooking to hug the baby. Love puts away the silver chains to kiss the husband. Love is kind, does not pay attention to stress and fatigue. Love does not envy, even if other households have Christmas tablecloths perfectly matched with the motifs on the Christmas set from Villeroy and Boch.
Love doesn’t yell at children not to get in the way, but it’s grateful that they’re here to knit underfoot. Love does not only give to those who return the gifts, but is happy when they can give a gift to someone who cannot give a gift himself.
Love endures, love believes, love has hope, love endures. Love will never end. Computer games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust, but the gift of love has eternal durability.– author unknown (according to the 1st letter to the Corinthians, 13th chapter)

If we want to find the true meaning of Christmas, we can start by distinguishing between Christmas and giving gifts. Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’ coming to Earth… A few ways I plan to spread the spirit of Christmas: I will show kindness and effective help to random people around me, I will avoid shopping frenzy, I will keep Christmas as simple as possible, with less A lot of stress and a greater understanding of what is important for the important thing, and I will spend as much time as possible with family and friends… And my gift to Santa for his birthday – gratitude! tho M. Hodler
