Introduction
The word ‘heaven’ and the questions of the next life often evoke mixed feelings in people. Many of us imagine this place as a paradise where we will be happy forever. Even so, if the life of our loved ones is seriously threatened and we think of death, certain ideas appear that disturb our minds. As if heaven were something we should avoid as long as possible.
We hope that this collection of reflections, personal reflections, stories and verses will encourage you in faith and the belief that heaven is a real place where each of us can find absolute love and complete fulfillment. Certainty about a future home in heaven is a huge encouragement in our so many times hard-tried life. Shakespeare described it as follows: ‘The idea is heavenly.’ Such an assurance will also allow us to prepare for the last journey ‘joyfully as a boy whose school has just ended,’ as one believer put it.

Meeting the Dearest
In heaven, the best thing is that we will be able to meet all the loved ones who have already died. It will be the biggest family gathering with all our ancestors, relatives and loved ones ever held. We will all meet at the same time at one place and it will be full of joy. Finally together!

Often people come to me with the question: ‘Mr. Moody, do you think we will know each other in heaven?’ They are mostly mothers who have lost their beloved child and want to meet him again. Sometimes it is a child who has lost a mother or a father and wants to know if he will recognize them in heaven. When Jesus rose from the dead, he always looked the same, felt the same, ate and drank and even cooked as when he was on earth. We will have the same bodies as Jesus had after rising from the dead. Each of us will have a new improved immortal body. It will be assembled just like our present body of flesh and bones – but of immortal, indestructible flesh and bones. It will be made of material that can be seen and felt. (See 1 John 3:2.)

We will experience all the experiences and joys of this life in the future as well. Our bodies will be similar to the earth, but much more lavish and beautiful. We will be able to eat, drink, rejoice and enjoy life without any hardships, pain, exhaustion or death.

From the accounts of those who saw glimpses of heaven in visions and revelations, it seems that we are growing in heaven. Those who come in their youth grow to a mature age, while older people ‘younger’ to middle age, the period of best years.

Even in heaven we will always be able to learn something. We will continue to develop and educate ourselves, because we are not perfect. This will be our future – to continue the educational process that we started on this Earth. There are still so many things we can learn about!

Some people believe that the moment we find ourselves in heaven, we will know everything. If that were the case, it would mean that we are the same as God – omniscient.
But God has the right time for everything. And so he divided everything we can learn about into the time of heavenly eternity, so that we do not get bored. We will find out more about the past and understand the things and situations that have happened, we will also better understand God’s logic and the meaning of everything.

Heavenly City – dwellings, children, music and our pets
The paradise that God has prepared for us – the beautiful heavenly city – is very clearly and distinctly described in the Holy Book of the Bible, specifically in the last two chapters of the ‘Revelation’ – the prophecy of St. John. It is so captivating and beautiful that one takes one’s breath away.
It is the largest city in the world built by God himself. It measures 2400 km in width and 2400 km in height. Its crystal golden beauty radiates golden glitter in all directions and is full of golden dwellings for you and me.
The streets are lined with sparkling, crystal clear gold. It is surrounded by a very high wall with twelve pearl gates. These gates are intended to prevent all those who are not yet ready to enter there to enter.
Behind the glistening gates lies the paradise of God, through which the river of living water flows peacefully. On its shores, children and animals play in the fresh grass, and our deceased loved ones are waiting for our arrival there.

In heaven, each of us will have a place to live. Before Jesus left this earth, he told all his followers that he was leaving to prepare a place for them and all believers. ‘There are many dwellings in my father’s house; if it were not so, I would tell you. A perfect environment without danger, fear, pain, accidents, death and all the horror situations that are full of this country. Small children will not have to cry. Just imagine all the benefits of raising children in heaven. It will just be a lot of joy.

We will have the best choirs, music groups and symphony orchestras to play the most beautiful music that the human ear has ever heard. Animals will be with us in heaven. The prophet Isaiah said: ‘The wolf will dwell with the lamb, the leopard with the goat to rest, … the lion as a cattle will eat straw’ (Isaiah 11:6-9).

God has given us a lot of animals already here[na zemi], to enjoy them, play with them and like them. And they will continue to be with us[v nebi].

When we see what God has prepared for us in heaven, we will surely agree with the apostle Paul, who wrote: ‘What the eye did not see and the ear did not hear, what did not even come to man’s mind, God prepared for those who love him’ (1. Corinthians 2:9). Things whose beauty and magnificence we cannot even imagine.
At the end – can I to heaven i I?
On the previous pages, the sky was presented from many sides. However, some questions remain unanswered. Perhaps the most important one is: ‘How can I know with certainty that I will go to heaven?’ Most of us would like to go there, but when we get into trouble, we’re not sure if we deserve it.
The same God who created this world, the universe and the sky that we have just read about loves us and assures us of his place in heaven. Briefly and very simply, it describes an important verse from the Bible:
‘For God so loved the world[každého z nás], that he gave his only son[Ježíše], so that no one who believes in him should perish, but have eternal life.’ –Jesus, Ev. According to John 3:16
God loves each of us with a very deep love. He knows that there is only one way to achieve happiness and personal fulfillment, and that is to live with it forever. In order for this to happen, he sent his son Jesus, who showed us how to live and love, and who eventually died for our sins. Jesus is the bridge between this life and heaven.
Never think you won’t get to heaven because you’re ‘bad’. God knows everything that we have ever done, said and what we think about, and yet he loves us immensely. Heaven is full of sinners – people who have sinned and asked God for forgiveness. It is enough for us to apologize to him for our evils and invite him into our lives.
One way to do this is to honestly say such a (or similar) prayer:
‘Dear Jesus, I would very much like to live in heaven forever. I know that I have made a lot of mistakes and I have not always behaved kindly and that I do not deserve it. Thank you for loving me so much and accepting me there with joy, just because I am about it he asked (as you wanted us). Please enter my life, help me and give me peace in my heart and mind.’
God has promised to answer your prayer and answer, so you already have a home in heaven. God bless you with a beautiful spirited eternity. See you in heaven!
