Jesus gets up from of the dead
At the dawn of Sunday, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the tomb. There was a strong earthquake. An angel of the lord descended from heaven, rolled back the stone and sat on it. Shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards were so frightened, they couldn’t even move. The angel spoke to the women: ‘don’t Worry, I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. But he’s not here anymore, he rose again to life, as it predicted. Come take a look into the tomb. And now hurry up and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee, where you see him. That’s what I had to do.“
Jesus appears to the women
With awe, and yet with great joy left the women quickly tomb and ran to tell his disciples. On the way he met with the same Jesus. He greeted them, and they fell on his knees and hugging his legs. Jesus said to them: ‘don’t Worry, just go to my brothers and tell them to go to Galilee, and there shall meet again.’
COMMENT: HOW KIND AND THOUGHTFUL OF JESUS, THAT THEY IMMEDIATELY TOLD WHERE TO GO TO GET TOGETHER AGAIN.
Religious leaders bribe the guard
After the departure of the women, some of the guards went into the city to announce the priests everything that happened. You gathered, and after consultation with the elders gave the soldiers a lot of money with the instruction: ‘Say that his disciples came at night and stole him away while you were sleeping.
Then the soldiers promised that he hears of it the governor, soothes him, and take care to walk without a hassle. The soldiers then took the money and spread the acts, what they were sent. This version among the jews spread, so believe it to this day.
Jesus gives the great credentials
Eleven of the apostles went to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated as the meeting place. There saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted, that it is really him. Jesus said to them: ‘it Is given all power in heaven and on earth. Therefore go and make followers of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the holy Spirit. Lead these new disciples to obey all the commands I gave you. And rely on it, that I am always with you until the end of the world.“
COMMENT: THIS IS A WONDERFUL PROMISE THAT JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH US UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD.
IN VERSE 19 IT SAYS: ‘Go and make followers of all nations’ THIS IS a BEAUTIFUL CREDENTIALS not ONLY FOR the DISCIPLES, BUT ALSO FOR US.
AS we KNOW FROM the letter to the CORINTHIANS, JESUS AFTER HE ROSE FROM the DEAD he appeared to MORE THAN 500 PEOPLE. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried and on the third day he was resurrected according to the Scriptures. Show to Cephas, then the Twelve, then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time (some already have fallen asleep, but most of them still alive), then he showed James, then to all the apostles. 1. Corinthians 15:3-8
FROM THE DEEDS WE ALSO KNOW THAT AFTER JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD, WITH THEM MET 40 DAYS. IN SKUTCÍH 1:1-4 SAYS IN a period of forty days from his death and resurrection with them met, proved to them that is really alive, and he told them that he will return to carry out God’s purpose with the world. When they were still together, he told them, that after his departure leave Jerusalem, but they were waiting, until God fills his promise.
